Alice Walker
Pulitzer-prize winning author Alice Walker, who turned 65 on Feb. 9, sat down for an interview with the Associated Press in Gaza City, Tuesday, March 10, 2009. She talked about the “catastrophe” that had befallen Gaza and that she hopes she and others can help President Barack Obama “see what we see.” Walker and members of the controversial U.S. anti-war group “Code Pink” toured Gaza this week.
